About the role
As part of our global team the risk executive will be responsibility for overseeing risk in respect of the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial affairs and in controlling the firm\xe2\x80\x99s risk exposure. The Risk Team works directly with liquidity providers and internal departments, and is directly responsible for monitoring and taking decisions around clients\xe2\x80\x99 and the company\xe2\x80\x99s trading activities. The Risk Team monitors the set risk limits and is expected to be highly proactive to ensure margin requirements are met.


Additionally, the risk function is primarily responsible for driving the development and ongoing improvement work around methodologies associated with the business. This includes analytics, margin, and reporting.
Your responsibilities

• Managing market risk and increasing/reducing open positions where required.
• Maximizing profit and minimizing risk through positioning and trading within approved limits, policies, and procedures.
• Analysing market data to identify trading opportunities.
• Staying up to date with financial news, fundamental analysis and technical analysis related to various trading products including currencies, stocks, gold, silver and oil.
• Developing data driven systematic trading strategies.
• Maintaining deal recording and P&L on a daily basis as well as further risk analysis reports.
• Assist in developing risk management models.
• Help improve margins and profitability.

Your profile

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Business, Business administration or Mathematics
• Deep understanding of the financial markets
• Strong analytical, numerical and literacy skills
• You work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• You are trustworthy and responsible
• Self confident, self-motivated and ambitious
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in English

Desirable

• Knowledge in MT4 and MT5
