Reporting to Country Chief Risk Officer, the Risk Analyst is expected to contribute to the timely and accurate execution of assigned activities for designated areas of responsibility across the risk management lifecycle. Collaborates effectively, provides support and challenge to the first line of defense.
Job Accountabilities

As Risk Analyst, your role will involve:
  • Contributes to meetings to provide guidance, updates or advice on projects and initiatives in assigned area.
  • Collects and prepares information, data and presentations with guidance from risk managers.
  • Supports engagement with first line to ensure that risk management activities are being completed on a timely basis.
  • Governance: Supports with the collection of information for policies and other governance documents.
  • Risk Appetite: Understands the risk appetite and tolerance for areas of responsibility.
  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Supports the 2nd line review and challenge activities.
  • Risk Response: Supports the review and challenge of proposed 1st line risk responses.
  • Monitoring: Assists with performing 2nd line risk monitoring activities.
  • Assurance: Supports assurance activities.
  • Reporting: Contributes to the production of risk reporting.
  • Engagement: Supports the 1st line to adopt GRM tools, templates and methodologies.
  • Training: Supports with the development of training materials

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or of equivalent work experience.
  • Additional professional qualifications are preferred.
  • Risk Management and Controls experience
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications, with the ability to present complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent ability to work with data: Data Visualization and Analytics.
  • Meticulous in preparing risk reports
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic team
