Reporting to Head of Propositions, the Market Insights Analyst is expected to design and deliver marketing research studies that provide insights to support the development and evaluation of business strategies and achievement of business aims.
Job Accountabilities
As Market Insights Analyst, your role will involve:
Develop and analyse data and information in the respective fields
Resolve research-related technical issues within function or unit
Provide technical expertise in defining, collecting/extracting and synthesizing market and customer data to assist in decision making, opportunity identification, evaluation of performance/potential
Run and manage select global/local research studies to support business decision making
Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
Share and consolidate knowledge coming from primary and secondary research
Translate research data into actionable results
Provide analysis, synthesis of data and knowledge drawn from research, either through written reports or presentations
Prepares presentations of results and recommendations
Present research output convincingly to peers and mid management levels
Ensure cost efficient management of insight projects and studies
Manage external agencies or other party market research vendors and provide support in budget control and procurement
Run pitch processes together with procurement to select external partners for research projects
Apply governance processes and ensures consistency of data, analysis and methodology
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Marketing area
Hand on experience with: -
o Primary research methods and techniques, both quantitative and qualitative o Secondary/syndicated research resources, data, tools, techniques and applications o Database/CRM resources, data, tools, techniques and applications
Preferred:
Strong organization and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong conceptual and analytical orientation; intellectual curiosity and unstructured problem-solving skills
