Inspect, select, and use rigging equipment
(slings, shackles, spreader bars, etc.) based on load type and weight.
Assist the lifting supervisor
in preparing and reviewing lifting plans and risk assessments.
Signal crane operators
using standard hand signals and radio communication.
Ensure all lifting tools and accessories are
certified and in good condition
before use.
Coordinate with site engineers and safety officers to maintain safe working zones.
Supervise and guide junior riggers (Level 1 & 2)
during lifting operations.
Comply with
company HSE standards, ADNOC lifting guidelines
, and site procedures.
Report any unsafe act, condition, or incident immediately.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid Rigger Level 3 certification
(TUV / ADNOC / LEEA / equivalent).
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in heavy lifting and rigging operations.
Strong understanding of
lifting plans, load charts, and safety regulations
.
Ability to interpret lifting drawings and rigging diagrams.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
