We are seeking a
Rigger - Borehole Drilling & Sampling
with4 years of experience
in operatingrigs and conducting borehole sampling
for geotechnical investigations. The ideal candidate should have experience handlingdrilling rigs, soil sampling, and safety compliance
in accordance withUAE regulations and MOIAT standards
.Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain
drilling rigs
forgeotechnical and soil investigation
projects. Performborehole drilling, soil sampling, and in-situ testing
according to project specifications. Ensure correctdrilling techniques
are applied to extract high-quality soil and rock samples. Assistgeotechnical engineers
by collecting, labeling, and preserving samples for laboratory analysis. Monitor and documentdrilling depth, soil layers, and ground conditions
. Ensuresafe rigging and lifting operations
when handling drill rods, casings, and equipment. Comply withUAE safety regulations, ISO standards, and MOIAT requirements
for drilling operations. Performregular maintenance and troubleshooting
of drilling rigs and related equipment. Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and laboratory personnel to ensure accurate data collection. Followhealth and safety protocols
to minimize risks during drilling and rigging operations.Requirements:
4 years of experience
operatingdrilling rigs
and performing borehole sampling. Strong knowledge ofgeotechnical drilling techniques, soil sampling, and rig operations
. Experience withrig maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs
. Familiarity withMOIAT standards, UAE drilling regulations, and ISO safety guidelines
. Certification inRigging & Lifting Operations
(UAE-approved certification preferred). Ability toread and interpret borehole logs, drilling plans, and technical drawings
. Physically fit and capable of working inoutdoor and high-risk environments
. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Proficiency inEnglish
(knowledge of Arabic is a plus).Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
