As a Rice Trader with a focus on the MENA region, you will be responsible for buying and selling rice products in the global market for our client, a big player in the commodities world.
Your mission :
- Monitor rice market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics to make informed trading decisions
- Identify and establish relationships with rice suppliers to secure a reliable source of quality rice
- Actively seek out potential customers, negotiate contracts, and execute rice trades
- Manage market risks and develop strategies to mitigate price fluctuations and supply disruptions
- Ensure that all rice products meet quality standards and specifications
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing excellent service
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with trade regulations
Your profile :
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years\' experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of the rice industry, specifically in origination from Asian and LATAM markets
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficiency in using trading software and tools
- Fluent in English both written and spoken, any other languages an asset
