Junior Equities Trader
Job Description
We are currently headhunting for a Junior Equities Trader with a top-tier financial institution based in Abu Dhabi. The role will involve performing best in class trade execution across a range of securities within the MENA region.
Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and proactive Equity Trader to be a part of our expanding trading desk. You will be responsible for trading the relevant book, improving trading strategies and identifying new opportunities.
- Anticipate client demand in each respective product/market and facilitate
large client trades
- Maintain strong governance and controls
- Appropriately assess risk reward/reward of transactions when making
business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's
reputation
Requirements:
- Proven history of successful trading book management
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or relevant fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge & experience of MENA equities
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
