Your Role We are looking for an RF test engineer with experience, to join our radar product development team here in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be required to plan, specify, execute and report testing of RF components and sub-systems in the development project, as well as during the production phase of the product. You will work with test and verification of complex RF/MW systems, regarding understanding requirements and transform them into practical measurable test cases. You will work together with experienced designers to ensure that the product fulfill requirements and expectations.

Your skills and experience Proven experience regarding planning and testing work for radar products using different frequencies, but equally important is that you have a desire to be a part of building a new entity and operation in the UAE.

Experience of higher-frequency system testing

B.Sc. or M.Sc. preferably in Electronics or Computer science

Minimum 5 years' experience in RF/MW testing

Knowledge of radar testing for X-, L- and C-band

Experience with test equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Supplies etc.

Experience from equipment control, preferably NI and Keysight

Experience of Labview

Experience from Python/Matlab/TCL

JTAG experience from FPGAs

Interface experience, Cables and connectors (MIL and Industrial standards)

You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word.

Open attitude and team player who enjoys working independently as well

Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills

Driver's license

Experience of test equipment such as stepper motor, turn-table, etc. is beneficial

Beneficiary is experience from

Continuous integration work

Hardware in the loop testing

Soldering competence for RF electronics

Field trial experience and Environmental testing for safety critical systems

Mechanical design knowledge

UAE residency is a merit

Successful applicants would be required to undergo and satisfy Saab Security Clearance formalities.
