JPC - 5235 - Revenues and Expenses Specialist
Job Location: Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain
Position Type: 12 months Contractual renewable
Total Experience: 5-10 years
Language Proficiency: English/Arabic
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the department's revenue and expenditure plans in alignment with the ministry's strategic goals, ensuring efficient allocation and use of financial resources.
Supervise the implementation of policies and procedures for revenue collection, ensuring timely and accurate collection of fees, fines, and other income sources.
Review and approve spending and payment requests within authorized limits, ensuring compliance with government procurement and financial regulations.
Analyze variances from the approved budget, review periodic performance reports, and submit financial reports to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
Ensure internal financial controls are in place to safeguard revenues and prevent overspending, in line with federal laws and international accounting standards.
Identify opportunities for financial process enhancements, lead change management initiatives, and ensure the department meets its human resource and capability development needs.
