Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment. As a Retail Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly, assist with their inquiries, and provide product information and recommendations.

Sales:

Achieve and exceed sales targets by understanding customer needs and promoting relevant products.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the latest products, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers.

Merchandising:

Ensure products are displayed attractively and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.

Cash Handling:

Process transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and issue receipts.

Inventory Management:

Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies.

Problem Resolution:

Address customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not required.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively.

Customer Focus:

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Sales Skills:

Ability to identify customer needs and make appropriate product recommendations.

Attention to Detail:

Strong attention to detail in handling transactions and maintaining product displays.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
