JM Foods are looking to onboard a local retail-experienced and well-networked individual to lead its fledgling retail team and scale-up operations in the role of a 'Retail Sales Manager.' The role entails the following responsibilities and requirements. Responsibilities: - Plan, establish/penetrate, and maintain strong business relationships with all major retail chains in the UAE. - Lead and manage a team of retail sales executives, support staff, and merchandisers; setting weekly and monthly plans and targets. - Ensure communications of commercial activities: launches, promotions, and so on are effectively communicated with all key stakeholders within the organization. - Monitor shrinkage level of all inventories and drive positive stock take results - Review and analyze detailed sales data to identify rapidly changing consumer trends and maximize opportunities. - Constantly analyze the retail (& regulatory) market and provide timely insights and feedback to the management. Monitors competitor's activity in each account and participates in the development & serving as a key source of information for movement of goods/brand & providing market feedback. Qualifications: - Be people-oriented, empathetic, organized, and result-driven - Be approachable and trustworthy - Have high levels of personal and professional integrity and ethics - Bachelor's degree in any relevant field. - Retail (F&B) sales and direct consumer marketing experience - Independent self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and with the ability to thrive in a team environment. - Effective communication skills: both written and spoken.
