Retail Director
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement retail strategies to attract and retain high-quality tenants.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to drive strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with tenants to optimize their retail spaces and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Oversee day-to-day mall operations, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
• Business development to ensuring the growth of portfolio including preparation of client proposal, conducting client presentation and marketing management
• Manage leasing activities, including negotiating lease agreements and terms with potential tenants.
• Collaborate with the leasing team to achieve optimal occupancy levels.
• Payment of DEWA and Emicool bills on behalf of the landlords.
• Recognizing the need for organizing and overseeing maintenance and renovations (liasing with approved service providers.
• Collection and monitoring of rent payments and preparing documentations in case of arrears (Including termination notices).
• Controlling the petty cash to cover the minor incidentals.
• Maintaining an accurate filing system to incorporate tenancy related information.
• Ensure the tenants' concerns and complaints are addressed to.
• Liasing with STRATA, government, industry departments e.g, the rent committee of Dubai Municipality.
• Ensure high occupancy year-round is covered.

Experience:

• 7 to 10 years' experience in the relevant market out of which 6 years should be as head of Leasing and track record of lead the Leasing function and achieving substantial targets.
• Master Developers and Construction Companies involved in development of large mixed use real Estate.
