The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overlooking an overall daily restaurant operation, assisting with menu planning and presentation, and supporting servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. He/she will be acting as one of the service team during operation, ensuring an efficient and consistent service. Additionally, he/she will train and mentor the service team, continually improving set up standards and procedures. WHAT WILL YOU DO Your main duties and responsibilities are: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation including Lounge area, by providing a highly efficient and effective service whilst ensuring that all financial and statutory requirements are met \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan new and update existing food and beverage menus while working closely with respective department heads \xe2\x80\xa2 Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy, and implement innovative policies to improve productivity and sales \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure to maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility, by controlling costs without compromising standards and the members and guests experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and maintain daily and weekly reports including cash up, rota, summaries, manager logs, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise the team, and make sure that the correct standards and methods of service and food and beverage presentation are maintained throughout WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 5 years\' experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent level of English, written and spoken \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge of Food and Beverage products, trends and services \xe2\x80\xa2 Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent team management, communication and listening skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality \xe2\x80\xa2 Have the ability to drive initiatives to increase brand loyalty \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time THE BENEFITS The Arts Club Dubai is offering a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package.
