The

Restaurant Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lounge restaurant, ensuring seamless service, exceptional guest experiences, and smooth coordination between front-of-house staff. This role includes supervising the service team, maintaining quality standards, resolving customer issues, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the lounge restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Lead, motivate, and support the service team, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses. Oversee table assignments, reservations, and guest flow to maximize efficiency and experience. Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally. Monitor staff performance, provide training, and conduct regular feedback sessions. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for smooth service operations. Support in scheduling shifts and managing staff attendance. Assist the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling operating costs. Maintain inventory levels of restaurant supplies and coordinate replenishment when needed. Prepare daily reports on operations, guest feedback, and staff performance. Promote a welcoming atmosphere in line with the lounge's brand standards.

Qualification

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, lounge, or bar. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven customer service and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software is an advantage. Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
