Key Responsibilities:
Curate and maintain
the wine list, ensuring a diverse and balanced selection that complements the menu.
Provide expert wine recommendations
and pairings tailored to each guest's palate and preferences.
Train and support
the service team in wine knowledge, tasting techniques, and upselling strategies.
Manage wine inventory
, including ordering, stock rotation, and cellar organization.
Lead wine tastings
, events, and seasonal pairing features to elevate the guest experience.
Stay current on global wine trends
, producers, and vintages to keep the program fresh and exciting.
Ensure all wine service
aligns with the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence.
What You'll Need:
Proven experience
as a Sommelier or Wine Specialist, ideally within a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
Certification in wine studies
such as WSET, CMS, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Extensive knowledge
of international wine regions, varietals, vintages, and food pairings.
A refined palate
and strong sensory evaluation skills to recommend and pair wines confidently.
Excellent communication
and storytelling abilities to engage guests and enhance their wine experience.
