The Receptionist/ Cashier serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent customer service while managing the front desk and cash transactions. This role combines administrative tasks with cash handling duties, ensuring smooth daily operations and an organized environment.
- Greet customers warmly and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Address inquiries about services, products, or schedules in person, via phone, or email.
- Provide guidance and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage and maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean and organized.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using booking software or systems.
- Handle cancellations, rescheduling, and customer waitlists.
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Issue receipts, handle refunds, and maintain a record of daily transactions.
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliations and prepare cash reports.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information and transactions.
- Assist in inventory tracking and restocking of front desk supplies or items for sale.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling cash and confidential information.
- Ensure that financial transactions comply with regulations and standards.
Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, Hostess or cashier is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic accounting software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or equivalent tools.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
