Restaurant Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a proven background in the Dubai hospitality scene and a genuine love for creating memorable guest experiences. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, driving commercial success, and upholding the high standards that define the Reform Social & Grill brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the entire front-of-house team, including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.
• Conduct regular training sessions on service standards, product knowledge, and guest interaction.
• Manage staffing levels, create rotas, and oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for team development.

Guest Experience & Service:

• Ensure every guest receives the highest standard of service, consistently exceeding expectations.
• Actively manage the floor during service, greeting guests, handling feedback, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a visible presence and lead by example in all guest-facing interactions.
• Uphold the unique atmosphere and brand standards of Reform Social & Grill.

Operations & Financial Performance:

• Manage the day-to-day operational running of the restaurant seamlessly.
• Control operational costs, including labour, inventory, and supplies, to meet budgetary goals.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
• Oversee stock management and ordering for the front-of-house.
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure full compliance with Dubai municipality regulations.

Sales & Marketing:

• Drive revenue by implementing strategies to increase average spend and table turnover.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Reform Social & Grill within the local community.
• Assist in developing and executing promotional events and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Essential: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, reputable restaurant or gastro-pub in Dubai.
• In-depth knowledge of the Dubai hospitality market, its clientele, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and develop a strong team.
• Impeccable communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
• A passion for food, beverage, and creating outstanding guest experiences.
• Commercially savvy with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be presentable, professional, and possess a high level of integrity.
