Job Description

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience. She is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and coordinating with the service team to ensure smooth front-of-house operations while maintaining the restaurant's quality and service standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them upon departure. Manage guest seating in line with reservation lists and table availability. Escort guests to their tables and present menus professionally. Handle guest inquiries, wait times, and special requests courteously. Manage reservations through the system or reservation book. Coordinate closely with floor supervisors, wait staff, and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow. Monitor table turnover and update wait times accurately. Maintain high standards of grooming, etiquette, and professional appearance at all times. Ensure guest seating areas are clean, organized, and presentable. Support the Assistant Quality Manager in maintaining service and hospitality standards. Assist in handling guest feedback or complaints and escalate when necessary. Support front-of-house operations during peak hours and special events. Assist with daily opening and closing duties of the reception area. Follow company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer-facing role (hospitality preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Presentable appearance with a friendly and professional attitude. Ability to handle busy service periods calmly and efficiently. Basic knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage. Fluency in English (Arabic or other languages is a plus). Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
