Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
Manage the waitlist and reservations using the restaurant's booking system
Escort guests to their tables and present menus
Communicate wait times and offer accurate information about the dining experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front entrance and hostess stand
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow
Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries, and takeout orders when necessary
Monitor the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction and respond to any concerns
Assist with other front-of-house duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
