The Arabic Hostess is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner. She ensures that guests receive an exceptional first impression and assists with seating arrangements, reservations, and guest inquiries--especially for Arabic-speaking clients--to enhance their dining or service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant or reception area.
Provide excellent customer service in both Arabic and English.
Assist guests with reservations, seating arrangements, and waiting lists.
Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer basic food and beverage questions.
Communicate efficiently with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception/hostess area.
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking with guests regularly.
Manage phone calls and online booking platforms for reservations.
Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.
Promote special events, offers, or loyalty programs as instructed by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Fluent in
Arabic
and
English
(spoken and written).
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
in a hospitality or restaurant environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional grooming and presentation.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is an advantage.
Customer-oriented attitude and a warm, welcoming personality.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service training preferred.
Working Conditions:
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Standing for long periods and interacting continuously with guests.
