Job Summary Atlantis The Palm has an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant General Manager to join the Team as the senior team leader of Hakkasan. You would form a strong and trusted relationship with the Head Chef and local business partners, and together create a successful business strategy for driving guest loyalty, team retention, revenue and profit. You will be accountable for the effective day to day running of the restaurant, and assume full responsibility for budget management, control of direct and indirect costs whilst adhering to and enforcing the policies and procedures as set out for the Atlantis property as a whole. We are seeking for a true business leader and restauranteur who has the determination to produce results and tackle challenges with positive and forward thinking approach. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an independent restaurant or group of first-class restaurants and a rich understanding of premium-end service delivery in high volume restaurants. You will lead by example, exercise charm with our guests and demonstrate incredible standards through warm and welcoming service. You will understand what it takes to hire, inspire and lead a team to exceed expectations, and turn guests to loyal regulars. About You The successful candidate will be someone with high energy and a positive approach towards building working relationships and overcoming complex challenges. They will be results driven and confident in their ability to change and adapt themselves as well as their team in order to work towards goals. A strong sense of leadership and an excellent motivator who has the experience and knowledge to understand the combination of detail, quality and volume whilst being able to delegate and set clearly defined expectations. A strong understanding of financials is essential as well as the ability to operate within the policies, procedures and systems of Atlantis, The Palm. They should demonstrate a positive and welcoming demeanour, and come across as someone who possesses a natural sense of hospitality. Calm and decisive under pressure, alongside a deep understanding of restaurant operations and extensive product knowledge. In addition, they have to be guest focused and comfortable with the hands on nature of the role with a willingness to lead from the front and by example, installing a sense of passion, pride and ambition throughout their team.
