The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light snacks while ensuring excellent customer service in the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to recipes and standards.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and service area.
Ensure all beverages are presented consistently and meet quality standards.
Manage stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and barista supplies.
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking and serving orders accurately.
Assist with upselling and promoting new drinks or specials.
Support the restaurant team in smooth daily operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred).
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
