To manage and oversee the financial operations of the restaurant, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and support for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor daily sales, expenses, and cash flow
Analyze cost trends and recommend efficiency improvements
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Manage vendor payments and reconcile supplier accounts
Track receivables and follow up on outstanding dues
Ensure timely bank reconciliations and petty cash management
Inventory & Cost Control
Collaborate with purchasing and kitchen teams to monitor food and beverage costs
Conduct periodic inventory audits and variance analysis
Maintain asset registers and depreciation schedules
Compliance & Audit
Ensure VAT compliance and timely filing with FTA
Support external audits and maintain proper documentation
Adhere to local labor and financial regulations
System & Process Oversight
Maintain accounting software and POS integrations
Implement internal controls for cash handling and expense approvals
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B or hospitality
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and hospitality cost structures
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
