Job Description

A Luxury Resort located on the East Coast of United Arab Emirates is currently looking for a Resort Manager who can lead a passionate team of hospitality professionals and can join immediately. The role is responsible to oversee and manage the overall operations of a resort facility. The resort manager is responsible for various aspects of the resort's function to ensure that guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience while staying at the resort. Main Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that guests' needs and expectations are met or exceeded. Ensure that all departments are functioning smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Hire, train, and supervise the resort's staff. Involve in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control to ensure the resort's profitability. Monitor revenue streams, control expenses, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize waste. They may also be responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers. Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect guests and employees. They may also handle risk management, emergency preparedness, and security measures to maintain a safe and secure environment. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the resort's physical facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, landscaping, and recreational facilities. Coordinate maintenance activities, address any issues promptly, and ensure that the resort is well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Foster positive relationships with the local community. Minimum Qualification / Experience / Skills Professional certifications or College qualifications preferably in hospitality management Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, hotel management, or a related field is usually preferred. Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in resort operations or a similar managerial role, is highly valuable. Strong leadership and management abilities to effectively oversee the resort's operations and staff. Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. A solid understanding of financial management principles is important for a resort manager. Knowledge of sales strategies, marketing techniques, and the ability to collaborate with the marketing team are beneficial. Should have a comprehensive understanding of resort operations, including front office management, housekeeping, food and beverage operations, maintenance, and guest services. Proficiency in multiple languages and an understanding of diverse cultures can be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure.
