Responsibilities of a Residential Letting Administrator; The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide administration of legal documentation for letting tenancies including but not limited to new tenancy paperwork, mid tenancy changes, terminations.
Providing administration support to the lettings teams.
Being pro-active and managing time effectively to provide high level of support to the team.
Offering support to other team members within the company
Marketing, to include canvassing and social media.
Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the portfolio.
Liaising with contractors and suppliers to arrange pre tenancy works.
Ensuring all administration is completed to a high standard and fully compliant in line with legislation and the audit guidelines.
Liaising with branch and clients to ensure the timely completion and receipt of all compliance certificates such as EPC, EICR, Landlord gas safety record.
Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Processing and ensuring payment of all branch related invoices.
Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the office
Writing professional emails and letters
Supporting the Management Team in day to day tasks and co-ordination, including dealing with tenants, landlords, trade and suppliers.
Dealing with aspects of Lettings administration from advertising properties, registering applicants, preparation of tenancy documentation
Liaising with tenants and landlords
Attending appointments necessary and carry out tasks in and out of the office
Diary and email management for the directors
Adhoc tasks to support the team
Required experience and skills
:
Must have a minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role
Have excellent communication skills and proficient at writing professional emails
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Highly organised and have an eye for detail
Willing to take on new challenges
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must have proven time management skills
Great work ethic
Have knowledge of the letting's regulations and property licensing
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to prioritise and organise
Positive, pro-active and flexible approach
Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
Previous administration experience required, ideally within the property industry
Candidates with experience in supporting UK letting agents will be given preference.
