Resident Engineer Stormwater Infrastructure
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons Middle East is a leading infrastructure and engineering firm known for delivering innovative solutions and high-quality projects across the region.
We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Engineer with expertise in infrastructure to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of major storm infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing

• Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance to the construction team to ensure compliance with design specifications, local standards, and best practices.
• Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality control, and adherence to project schedules.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction methodologies.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that may arise during construction.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the project team, client representatives, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards and procedures on the construction site.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in stormwater drainage design, construction, and supervision.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
