About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer - Site to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain construction standards Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, highlighting any issues or potential risks Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, contracts, and change orders Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues and implement solutions Monitor and control project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings where possible Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff on-site

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred UAE experience is required. Minimum 5 years as Resident Engineer with 18+ total years of experience. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control, and site safety practices Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE, particularly in Ras Al-Khaimah Outstanding project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality * Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
