We are seeking a highly experienced and certified

Resident Engineer - MEP

to lead the supervision, coordination, and management of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site. The role serves as the consultant's primary representative for MEP disciplines, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the MEP supervision team, including Assistant Resident Engineers and Inspectors. Act as the authority for all on-site MEP works and ensure seamless integration with civil/structural works. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems in line with approved designs, specifications, and codes. Review and provide approval for contractor submissions, including MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, test reports, and inspection requests. Manage site queries, RFIs, and technical clarifications related to MEP systems. Evaluate and certify contractor submissions including interim payments, variation claims, and EOT requests for MEP works. Assess construction schedules and resource plans, ensuring MEP activities align with the overall project program. Chair MEP coordination/progress meetings with the client, contractor, authorities (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.), and design consultants. Ensure compliance with project QA/QC and HSE plans; issue NCRs and follow through on corrective actions. Liaise with senior stakeholders, ensuring authority approvals and NOC requirements are met for MEP services. Proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies related to technical, contractual, and financial aspects of MEP works. Mentor and provide technical leadership to the supervision team.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory). Master's in Project/Construction Management (Preferred).

Certifications:

Dubai Municipality/DEWA/DM Approved Engineer (Mandatory). PMP, CEng, LEED, or equivalent certifications (Preferred).

Experience:

18-25 years in engineering consultancy and MEP supervision. Extensive experience in high-rise, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects within Dubai/UAE.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
