Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Inspect and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on materials, workmanship, and finishing.
- Ensure all work follows health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
2. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress against schedules and highlight delays or issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly site reports, including progress photos, manpower, and equipment logs.
- Attend and contribute to progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Act as the main point of contact on site for the consultant/client.
- Coordinate between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions in real-time.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Monitor the testing and commissioning of systems.
- Ensure all snags and defects are rectified before handover.
Required profile
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years in construction supervision, with at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC.
- Proven track record on large hospitality (hotels/resorts) and high-rise residential projects.
Certifications:
- Professional membership (e.g., MIStructE, MICE) is a plus.
- HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
Software: Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
