Ramada Encore Muscat is now seeking a Reservations & Revenue Supervisor to join our team

Job Summary

The Reservation & Revenue Supervisor will be responsible for maximizing rooms; revenue through management of the hotel's room inventory, and for assisting in supervision of the day to day activities and duties of the reservations department. He / She will supervise the reservation functions for the hotel ensuring all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner.

Education & Experience

A minimum of 2/3 years in a similar role in a branded hotel Computer literacy Diploma in hospitality industry / Business administration

Key Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates activities of the reservation team members and providing reservations and customer service skills Fully knowledgeable about the hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, special discounts, facilities and services Attends daily and weekly revenue strategy meetings Actives quick response to guest problem in providing the appropriate results. Ensures guest satisfactions Prepares reports using both computerized reservation system and other computer software. Acts as a main resources for reservation agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction Ensures reservation department and front office staffs are constantly aware of availability states open, on request, closed dates and high demands dates. Responds to all guest reservation requests and executes prompt, courteous and accurate guest service at all times.

Other Duties

Monitors all VIP's special guests and requests. Monitors all stationary supplies in the Reservation department. Tracks daily, weekly, monthly and yearly statistics for analytical, budgeting and forecasting purposes. Maintains an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of reservations, reports, restrictions etc.
