Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located 2km from Dubai International Airport in the heart of old Dubai. Set in landscaped grounds overlooking Dubai Creek, the hotel offers 292 rooms and suites, 21 meeting rooms, four restaurants, an award-winning spa and access to sports and leisure complex, The Aviation Club. About the Job:

To handle all Reservation requests in a courteous and efficient manner whilst

Working closely with your Team leader to maximize occupancy and average rate.

Your main duties will include:

• Have a thorough knowledge of the entire hotel services and facilities
• Maintains the privacy of all guests by ensuring that we follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
• Follow the PCI (Payment Card Industry) policy and procedure
• Follow FRAUD PREVENTION policy and procedure
• To be totally familiar with all aspects of the reservation systems
• Handle all reservation requests using good listening and communication skills

to secure information necessary to complete a reservation

• Process rooming lists and group blocks and indicate special requests and billing procedures
• File and process reservations correspondence, make certain all files are

current and in order.

• Have knowledge of Front desk, Sales and Accounts departments and how they

relate to the Reservations department.

• Abide by the hotels policies and procedures
• Be familiar with changes in the rates and group enquiries
• Complete your daily shift task list and aid others if you complete your tasks before your shift finishes
• To be aware of inventory management and keep a constant check on the room types available throughout the day
• To have an understanding of departmental goals and projections for average rate and occupancy

Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team Including assistance for large events or hotel functions.

About you:

• Fluency in English both written and oral is required. Ability to converse in any other Foreign language is highly advantageous
• Pro-active and reliable
• Able to work under stress and flexible hours
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of OPERA would be an advantage
• Excellent telephone manner is essential
• Excellent time management and organisational skills essential
• Innovative
• Middle East Experience
• Minimum of 1-year reservation experience in a 5-star luxury or Ultra luxury hotel.
• Previous experience working with Reservations or similar environment
