Role Summary
The Reservations Agent at InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences will be responsible for handling guest reservation inquiries, processing bookings, and maximizing room occupancy through effective sales techniques. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
What You'll Do

• Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels professionally and promptly
• Process bookings in line with hotel standards and brand guidelines
• Maximize occupancy and revenue through up-selling and cross-selling techniques
• Maintain current knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, and hotel facilities
• Ensure accuracy in guest profiles, billing instructions, and special requests
• Assist with group reservations and coordinate with Sales & Events teams for specific requirements
• Liaise with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams for smooth communication and operations
• Monitor room availability and adjust bookings to optimize inventory usage
• Resolve guest issues and requests efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Keep accurate reservation records and generate reports as required by management
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information at all times

Ideal Profile

• Previous experience in a reservations role within a luxury hotel environment
• Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems preferred
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service
