This role is responsible for handling guest reservation inquiries, optimizing room sales through up-selling, and supporting loyalty program engagement while ensuring exceptional customer service in line with Marriott standards.

Job Overview
The Reservation Sales Coordinator will manage guest reservation requests across various channels, provide support to the sales team, and execute loyalty program tasks. This position plays a crucial role in maximizing revenue and building strong guest relationships. Ideal candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple administrative and guest-facing duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities

• Handle reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, email, or fax
• Apply upselling techniques to maximize room revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Accounting, and Data Administration to resolve guest queries and issues
• Process Marriott Bonvoy rewards and gift redemptions accurately
• Promote brand awareness internally and externally through consistent service standards
• Assist with general office tasks including filing, document handling, and email correspondence
• Record and process all guest interactions professionally and in accordance with Marriott etiquette
• Monitor quality standards and report performance issues to management
• Act as a role model for fellow associates and assist in their training when required

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality reservations or guest services
• Proficient in communication and telephone handling
• Ability to multitask and handle administrative responsibilities effectively
• Familiarity with Marriott systems or hotel reservation platforms is a plus
• No supervisory experience required
