As Revenue Manager, we rely on you to:
Lead all activities pertaining to operating the Reservations Department to maximize room revenues and profit.
Manage room availability across all distribution systems to maximize sales opportunities
Implement yield strategies developed by the Director of Revenue to maximize booking opportunities.
Implement necessary controls and restrictions in the various distribution systems to effectively manage demand
We are looking for someone who:
Hospitality qualification or experience, preferably in a hotel management, reservations, sales or business development environment
Preferably has relevant experience with an international luxury hotel
In-depth understanding of or current experience of revenue management
Ability to drive change initiatives and support change within the organisation
Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
Provision of strong leadership and effective managerial support and coaching to develop a team
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
Has strong interpersonal skills
