The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling all guest inquiries, reservations, and cancellations in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to ensure a seamless booking experience. The role requires knowledge of the Opera system and strong communication skills to maintain high guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online platforms.
Accurately enter reservation details into the Opera system.
Update room availability and rate information in the system as required.
Confirm and modify bookings and send confirmations to guests.
Coordinate with the Front Office and Sales team regarding group bookings and special requests.
Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with guests and internal departments.
Assist in resolving reservation-related issues and provide alternatives when necessary.
Ensure all reservations are handled in line with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Proficiency in using the Opera reservation system.
Customer-focused with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
