We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. As a Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth booking experience. Your role is crucial in creating positive first impressions and setting the stage for memorable stays at our property.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and online reservations efficiently and professionally
Provide detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and property amenities
Upsell room categories and additional services to maximize revenue
Process reservations accurately, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are recorded
Collaborate with other departments to address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, events, and local attractions
Generate and distribute daily reports on reservation activities
Assist with group bookings and coordinate with the sales team when necessary
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude
Qualifications
Previous Experience in a hotel
Proficiency in hotel management software, preferably Opera
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Team player with a collaborative approach to work
