Job Summary:
The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling incoming reservation requests, processing bookings efficiently, and delivering outstanding customer service. This role ensures a smooth booking process by accurately managing hotel reservations and coordinating with clients to meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Reservations: Manage customer bookings through phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the reservation system.
Booking Management: Maintain and update reservation records, modifying bookings as necessary while keeping all data current and precise.
Availability Updates: Monitor room availability and service capacity; provide suitable alternatives during peak periods or when overbooked.
Special Requests: Handle customer-specific requests such as room types, bed configurations, or other personalized services.
Customer Support & Problem Resolution: Address and resolve booking issues, complaints, or last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience working in a Destination Management Company (DMC) or a related travel industry role.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and efficient reservation handling and data management.
