Reservation agent at Holiday Homes Daniels Holiday Homes is now hiring a Reservations Agent to deal with all our guest enquiries, bookings and registrations in an expeditious and satisfactory manner.

• Handle reservations, inquiries in an attentive, very friendly and efficient manner

• Respond extremely fast on inquiries and bookings from channels such as Airbnb, booking.com or any other portals

• As a first point of contact for guests and potential guests, the positive and willingness to help and sell apartments is a must.

• Aim for direct bookings by upselling our properties in an attentive and positive way.

• Follow up and remember on enquiries of potential guests.

• Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a fast-paced environment

• Maximize room rates according to company standards

• Coordinate with clients and Guest Relations Team of Daniels Holiday Homes for bookings, room availabilities, and extra services

• Responding extremely fast to calls and general enquiries to ensure guests are not kept waiting

• Providing each Daniels Holiday Homes guest a personal booking experience

• Ensure close alignment with Revenue Management to optimize revenues and occupancies

• Actively deliver to targets

• Ensure that all reservations are captured into the system according to standard operating procedures

• Prioritising tasks and communicate effectively with colleagues which is essential for the daily running of the operations

• Managing difficult communications with valued guests who are unsatisfied with our service, product or resolution offered

• Collaborating effectively with the Marketing Team to up-sell any specific property

• Working on other tasks or ad-hoc projects/activities as required

• Feel the guests needs and in case the desired property is not available, to sell any other property actively.

• Aim for an amazing client feedback (good reviews)

• Create a positive vibe to be very friendly and helpful to any client.

• Be flexible, also after working hours. Guest enquiries, bookings or concerns always should be attended.

Skills & Experience To be an effective Reservations Agent, the candidate must demonstrate:

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar role with a 5* hotel or holiday home operator required - strong sales skills critical
• Bachelors degree or diploma
• Fluent English mandatory; in speaking and writing.
• Good skills and experience in selling.
• Ability to work in shifts based on rotating weekly roster. Our guests touch down from dawn until dusk, including on weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable using all Online Travel Agencies' platforms
• Responsible and motivated
• Strong work ethic
• Must possess a customer first mentality
• Be friendly and extremely helpful and feel the guests needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Be flexible, always be available to attend guests enquiries.
