The role will entail working alongside a friendly team of experienced researchers to develop Text Summarization techniques and deploy them to our online video conference product.
Responsibilities :

• Research, propose, and execute next-generation model architectures
• Prototype new techniques, compare results, and work with ML Engineering team
• Research and develop state of the art ML Models
• Work closely with the ML Engineering team in influencing the roadmap and execution
• Propose and implement metrics to measure the model performance
• Work with the customers and product manager to understand the pain points and iterate

Key Qualifications

• Ability to lead research to improve machine-learning algorithms which understand text, audio, speech, and other modalities
• Publications in top ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or application specific conferences (EMNLP, InterSpeech, ICASSP, and ACL)
• Experience holding an academic, industry, or government research scientist position
• Ph.D. from top tier university in machine learning or related field (AI, computer science).
• Experience leading a project to solve complex modelling problems with machine learning
• Highly experienced in theoretical and empirical research for addressing research problems
• Experienced with basic software development (C++, Python, etc)
