Job Summary
Bring in the necessary skills and expertise to develop relevant formulation and process for personal care products innovations, deliver to time and cost targets (OTIF). Supports projects through effective and efficient delivery of trials (and preliminary analysis of results), product, technical reports or communication. Contributes to the planning and executes trials, tests, measurement activities within projects. Should have strong willingness to work with the team and building interpersonal relationship for the faster project deliveries.

Roles & Responsibilities
Product development
- Personal Care Product Development, Manufacturing of PC products, Stability tests and RM/ PM analysis of PC products including bar soaps, liquid soaps, shampoos, creams and lotions.
- Make bar soap batches in pilot plant
- Value engineering: Deliver assigned value engineering projects across sites on previously developed products
- Existing Product Development ensure the revamp of existing products as per the business brief and setting up the processes.
- Ensure the proper stabilities and reports
- Documentation for products, ensuring the share folders are updated
- Conduct evaluation of the product developed
- Instrument handling Gas Chromatography, Viscometer, Spectrophotometer, etc.
- Define and propose technical specifications.
- Conduct analysis of the products from market
- Conduct GC analysis for the fatty acids, oils and finished product.
- Keep the lab and instrument up and running with on time calibrations etc.
- Develop new methods of analysis in coordination with QC chemists
Product development
- OTIIF delivery of projects, Job Knowledge - Results
- Timely delivery of desired prototypes and their documentation
- Support to OTIF Product development and technical deliveries of value engineering projects to bring in the Savings to P&L of business
- Co-ordinate Improving production process and efficiency
- Capacity to apply-implement, ensuring proper documentation of BOM, specification, stability reports etc.
- Systematic documentation of the experimental results in the record books.
- Issue reports on evaluation of products against benchmark.
- Reports on new technical claims of products
- Regular check and updates handling of lab instrument
- Ensure the good documentation practice
- R&D Experience of 2-4 years in Personal care
- PC and Home care product development and RM/PM
- Regulatory and Futuristic technologies understanding
