Job Function

The Research Assistant will support research projects by conducting literature reviews, assisting in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and collaborating with senior researchers to develop research proposals, including research questions, methodologies, timelines, and deliverables. The role also involves contributing to the writing and editing of research papers, reports, and presentations for academic and scholarly publication, as well as coordinating research activities such as scheduling meetings, supporting participant recruitment, managing research databases, and maintaining accurate project documentation.

Responsibilities

Literature Review: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to gather relevant information and identify gaps in existing research.


Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate research methodologies and statistical techniques.


Research Proposal Development: Collaborate with senior researchers to develop research proposals, including formulating research questions, designing methodologies, and outlining project timelines and deliverables.


Publication Support: Contribute to the writing and editing of research papers, reports, and presentations for publication in academic journals, conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets.


Project Coordination: Coordinate research activities, including scheduling meetings, arranging participant recruitment, managing research databases, and ensuring

Experience

Minimum of five years of academic and research experience in higher education institutions.


Participation in applied research projects related to psychological measurement and educational counseling.

Skills

Strong background in psychological assessment and statistical analysis using software such as SPSS and AMOS.


Proficiency in research design, instrument development, and data interpretation.


Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification

Master's in psychology (specialization in Measurement and Evaluation, Counseling Psychology, or Educational Psychology).

A solid research record with publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
