Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant (RA) to support ongoing research in the field of cognitive psychology. The RA will work closely with the principal investigator and research team on various aspects of the research process, including literature reviews, data collection, data entry and analysis (primarily in SPSS), and manuscript preparation for publication. This position is suitable for candidates with a background in psychology or a related field and a strong interest in cognitive research. Key Responsibilities o Conduct thorough literature reviews and summarize relevant findings o Assist in designing and implementing experiments or cognitive tasks o Recruit and schedule participants for studies o Collect behavioral data in lab or online settings o Enter, clean, and manage data accurately o Conduct statistical analyses using SPSS (and/or other statistical tools as needed) o Assist in the preparation of research manuscripts, figures, and tables for publication o Participate in regular team meetings and provide research updates o Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality with all research data and participant information



Minimum Qualification



Master or BA in Psychology

Expected Skills



Experience conducting literature reviews using academic databases (e.g., PsycINFO, PubMed, Google Scholar) Proficiency in data entry and statistical analysis using SPSS Strong academic writing skills, including familiarity with APA style Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on assigned tasks High attention to detail, particularly in data handling and documentation
