Job Description

Responsibilities:

Conduct scientific and technical research to develop new products or improve existing ones.

Optimize tobacco blends, flavor profiles, and delivery systems to meet consumer preferences and regulatory standards.

Improve manufacturing processes for consistency, efficiency, and quality control.

Conduct chemical, physical, and sensory testing of prototypes and final products.

Work with marketing, legal, and production teams to align product development with business goals.

Research and ensure compliance with relevant product technology regulations and standards in target markets.

Create accurate and reliable documentation of product development activities, ensuring the integrity and validity of the results.

Continuously review and improve R&D processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and increase innovation capacity.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an R&D management role within the FMCG industry.

Experience in FMCG, tobacco, or regulated consumer goods industry preferred.

Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle and lab testing methodologies

Familiarity with regulatory standards and documentation practices

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

Proven track record of success in product development and innovation.

Strong knowledge of R&D processes, project management, and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in the use of R&D management software and other relevant tools.

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
