Job Description

The Role The role of the research analyst is to provide research, data analysis, and support for a variety of real estate data projects and initiatives. The role will encompass regular tasks around the collection and analysis of real estate and relevant economic data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the departments production and delivery of research material. The ideal candidate would have a detailed knowledge of the local UAE real estate market with at least 2 years of experience specifically in a research capacity, however, new graduates may also be considered for this role. Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research.
  • Assist in building of various datasets.
  • Analyse proprietary and third-party real estate market data and intelligence on a regular basis.
  • Convert analysis and market knowledge into actionable insights.
  • Assist in the creation and preparation of materials for periodic and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, presentation decks, and client meetings.
  • Assist with creation of analytical and thought leadership commentary for inclusion in various publications.
  • Performs periodic data audits to ensure that quantity and quality of our data is of the highest level in terms of both quality and accuracy.
  • Interact with other business departments and assist with data and research inquiries.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from four-year college or university (or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education) preferably in real estate, economics, finance, or business.
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in real estate or other market research role.
  • Intermediate experience with Tableau and data visualisation is desirable.
  • Intermediate programming skills with languages such as SQL, R, Python is not essential but will be advantageous for the role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proactive and should enjoy working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
