As a Market Research Analyst, you will support international expansion by conducting research, analysis, and financial modeling to provide the organization with insight into international markets, financial feasibility, competitor analysis, and product trends. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a market research program, identifying and forecasting research needs covering quantitative and qualitative elements
  • Keep up to date with research best practices, new methodologies and agency offers to make sure the research program is as effective as possible
  • Capture internal and external insight through targeted surveys or through the engagement of external market research agencies
  • Uncover, interpret and leverage market insights and data to help solve market challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Combine information from a range of sources to provide guidance for market strategies
  • Provide expert guidance to interpret insights and data-based information to inform and support critical business decisions
  • Develop landscapes concerning intellectual property, technologies, market, key players, and funding
  • Provide consistent, organization-wide commentary on the industry, competition, and market trends
  • Identify strategies, priorities, and examples of collaborations that other corporations have developed to support their research/innovation
  • Ensure research is communicated internally to the appropriate departments and its findings and implications are understood by presentations and report briefing and by using the full range of communication channels, such as market profiles, competitor profiles, topic profiles, latest insights, foresight articles, etc.
  • Build consistently accurate databases and toolkits for Market Intelligence to archive data.
  • Work well with and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment for the entire staff
  • Take responsibility for one internal area of management
Requirements
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related subject
  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related subject is an advantage
  • Professional qualification/certification from a relevant professional body is an advantage
