Role purpose:
Vodafone is on a digital transformation journey across its enterprise architecture. New cloud solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud, EVO Concur, Fieldglass, Success Factors and Ariba have been deployed, together with the new digital core of S/4HANA. This new approach fundamentally changes the approach to reporting across the ERP landscape with new opportunities to leverage our data to drive insights and decision making.
The Reporting & Analytics Manager will bring expertise for existing Business Intelligence & Reporting capabilities across Finance, Consolidation & Planning, Supply Chain and Human Resources. The role is key to delivering significant improvements to the overall Reporting Strategy of EVO and future reporting expectations.
The Reporting & Analytics Manager needs to own the pipeline for EVO cross-functional analytics, be the product owner for EVO reporting & analytics tools and identifies improvement opportunities and promotes best practices. The Reporting & Analytics Manager will also be working on building up the _VOIS Data lake on GCP in line with Nucleus to enable best class analytics, will own the pipeline for _VOIS reporting & analytics transformation as well to identify and maximise reporting opportunities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing our future state reporting processes and will be responsible for designing and enabling the delivery of reporting investments that will enable users to easily access data to transform and release value for Vodafone.
Awareness and understanding of external trends and disruptive technologies as they emerge is an important part of this role. Harnessing the capabilities of reporting technologies, identifying use cases within the EVO and _VOIS reporting framework and driving their enablement will provide Vodafone with a competitive edge. Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
  • Development of reporting process redesign and input to define and revolutionise EVO reporting
  • Supports the Communities of Practice with improvements and enhancements across functional boundaries i.e. Technology.
  • Reporting Opportunity Assessments: Provides IT expertise to support the assessment and review of reporting options.
  • Working closely with SAP Centre of Excellence and Process Leads to develop world class solutions
  • To provide expert advice on challenging Business demands and designs from the Systems Integrator where required
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
  • Strong communication skills, exposure to dealing with diverse and senior stakeholders.
  • IT acumen and ability to identify varied IT problems and suggest solutions, even “out of the box”
  • SAP SAC, SAP BW, SAP ECC Reporting, BI tools with experience in data warehousing and report design
  • The ability to breakdown functional questions into system, process and organisational components
  • Experience on a large global multi-cultural IT change program and managing projects.
  • Detailed Vodafone Global Finance, SCM and HR business process knowledge & “hands on” experience
  • 5 years+ experience in blue chip Finance departments / Shared Service Centres
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • Professional Finance qualification (desirable).
  • SAFe certification including SCRUM Master experience (desirable).
