The Change and Release Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and management of change and release activities. This role ensures smooth transitions of system updates and enhancements, minimizes disruption to services, soft launches / go-lives of new services and maintains compliance with ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage change requests, ensuring proper assessment, approval, and documentation. Plan and oversee release cycles, including scheduling, deployment, and post-release reviews. Maintain and update the change and release master tracker, ensuring visibility across all stakeholders on each release after deployment to do the end-to-end testing. Monitor and report on release progress, addressing risks and issues proactively. Run release coordination bridge call in your shift for whole time except break hours. Define, document, and refine release processes, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and high-quality releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, infrastructure, and operations) to establish a clear release roadmap and prioritize releases based on business goals and capacity. Own the end-to-end release planning process, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment for all digital service releases. Ensure all release activities, including development, testing, and deployment, are completed on schedule and adhere to defined quality standards. Identify potential risks and issues related to releases, implementing strategies to mitigate them. Ensure thorough impact assessments are conducted for each release, particularly for high-impact services integrated with external entities such as government entities and external partners. Implement automation where applicable to streamline deployment, rollback, and monitoring processes. Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools into the release process. Ensure cross-functional collaboration between IT, business units, and external partners to align release activities with organizational objectives. Prepare detailed release reports and dashboards for management. Ensure all releases comply with relevant governance, security, and regulatory standards, particularly when dealing with sensitive data or government-integrated services. Ensure that rollback and contingency plans are in place and well-documented in case of release failures. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Design, build, and maintain automated reporting systems using AI and automation tools. Develop dashboards and data visualizations to make insights more accessible. Continuously optimize reporting workflows and suggest improvements using AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field. At least 5 years in release management, software development, or IT project management. Outstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks. Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation. Experience working with ServiceNow/ESM, JIRA, or similar platforms. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple releases across environments. Risk assessment and incident management capabilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and manage multiple priorities Work on rotational shift. Weekend 1 or 2 days on-call in a month (no week-off for same). In-depth understanding of release management best practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Applications, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting/dashboard tools.
