Job Description

General Overview:
We have been mandated by one of UAE\'s leading Financial entities on the role of Relationship Manager, Real Estate in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong credit and marketing experience with the ability to create Relationship Strategies and execute Account Management plans.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complex multi-product Group relationships (Group Turnover > AED 3Bn) and solicit acceptable new relationships per identified market segments & geographical boundaries, by originating transactions across Bank\'s product suite, to achieve pre-set financial & non financial objectives.
  • Play an active & integral role in deal origination efforts and coordinating between client and product team(s) in the mandate execution.
  • Maximize utilization of approved Credit limits, by facilitating transactions & addressing Operations &/or Documentation requirements.
  • Responsible for credit risk assessment, risk rating and structuring of facilities for assigned corporate relationships working with Credit Relationship Managers (CRMs).
  • Meet with clients, prepare Credit Proposals (CPs) and liaise with Wholesale Risk Management (WRM) and the Compliance Unit to resolve all queries related to risk and compliance issues.
  • Review existing portfolio in a timely manner, recommend appropriate credit facilities in line with the bank\'s credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risk to an acceptable level, and achieve a satisfactory rating on portfolio quality and credit management processes.
  • Formulate \'Relationship Strategy\' & \'Account Plan\' for each client and ensure establishment of appropriate penetration/cross-sell strategies to attain objectives per KPI.
  • Develop strong working relations with all existing clients at the decision-making level, to position the organization as their preferred bank.
  • Hands-on account management to ensure effective and timely delivery of the banks\' services/products to clients through proactive interaction across the bank, to attain desired level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, focusing on \'new to bank\' transactions / business.


Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of multiple product areas of the bank, thus having the capability to constructively engage with client senior management to drive new business opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Bank\'s policies and operating systems.
  • Understanding of economic trends, understanding of regional / global financial markets.
  • Strong credit and marketing skills along-with intuitive / judgment skills to evaluate risks beyond the obvious.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of relevant experience is required.
