Registered Nurse With Dermatology & Dental Experience
Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by dermatologists.
Perform wound care and dressing changes.
Assist with minor surgical procedures and biopsies.
Educate patients on skin care, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures.
Assist with laser therapy, phototherapy, and other dermatology-specific treatments.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Stay current with the latest advancements in dermatology nursing.
Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
Manage patient flow and scheduling in the dermatology clinic.
Provide post-procedure care and instructions to patients.
Assist with cosmetic dermatology procedures, such as Botox and fillers.
Perform skin examinations and document findings.
Respond to patient inquiries and provide information on dermatological conditions and treatments.
