The OPD Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in the outpatient department.
This includes assisting physicians during examinations, providing patient education, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients attending the OPD.
Assist physicians during consultations, minor procedures, and diagnostic exams.
Record and maintain patient medical histories and vital signs.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures.
Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the physician.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, follow-up care, and general health.
Ensure proper infection control procedures are followed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for smooth patient care delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms and equipment.
Comply with UAE Ministry of Health and DHA regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from a recognized institution.
DHA license or eligibility as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience (OPD experience preferred).
Proficiency in English
